Optical Slider
The HALIOS® technology enables the realization of mechanic-free, optical sliders of arbitrary form and freedom of design to the greatest possible extent.
The corresponding sensor-system is situated behind a closed surface, whereas the form of the surface can to a certain extent be chosen freely by the customer.
Consequently an optical slider can also be shaped in various different ways, e.g. as a circle.
Rotator
At the moment there are different concepts:
1. Relative detection of the finger with visual feedback from a display.
2. Absolute position detection in order to recognize the exact adjustment even without visualization.
