The HALIOS^® principle offers the option to improve the range and disturbance-free qualities of classical optical sensors with relatively small efforts.

Additionally, application areas can be augmented substantially. It becomes possible for example to measure a black adhesive substance against a dark background during its application in position and strength.

This process is used for example in gluing car-body-panels in the automotive industry.

Neither ambient light from lamps nor ambient light from adjacent welding lines influence the measurement.
