The next generation sensor IC of Elmos convinced experts.
Since 1990 the EDN Innovation Award is awarded for the most unique and outstanding product innovation.
Within this year’s nomination the application by Mechaless Systems GmbH with the HALIOS® IC E909.06A from Elmos Semiconductor AG made it into the finals of the category sensors.

Mechaless a wholly-owned subsidiary
Since September 2009 Mechaless Systems GmbH is a 100% Elmos AG subsidiary. Before, Elmos held 51% of the shares. The complete takeover of Mechaless and the HALIOS® know-how is a resolute step regarding the technological progress and especially the market maturity of the products.
In the future Mechaless will focus on the core business of Elmos more and more and will extend the transfer of technological knowledge. Additionally the expense for communication concerning goals, strategies and procedures should be decreased and thus the effectiveness increased.

Uwe Hill is new managing director of Mechaless Systems GmbH. Mr. Hill will be the successor of Mr. Elmar Winter who is stepping into a new career challenge.
