MECHALESS Systems, located at the Technology Park in Karlsruhe

MECHALESS Systems was founded in July 2001 as a spin off of a leading mobile phone producer. We are the developers of the patented optoelectronic measurement principle HALIOS^® (High Ambient Light Independent Optical System).

Based on this principle, engaged, high qualified engineers conduct research and develop new products with an emphasis on optics, hard/
software, IC design and precision engineering.

Being a R&D service provider, MECHALESS Systems offers its developments mainly in the field of optoelectronics.

Together with the majority shareholder
ELMOS Semiconductor AG in Dortmund (www.elmos.de), MECHALESS Systems puts the focus of its research on optoelectronic product developments for high volume markets.

The MECHALESS team, being the center of HALIOS^®competence, is therefore able to implement various different optical input devices and technical sensors. These are offering functionalities not known until now and opening clear qualitative as well as price advantages.
